Who Are We?

The Whitley & Jenkins Families

Bobbie & Larry Whitley

About nine years ago, Lee Ann Jenkins’ college mates started a consignment sale in one of their backyards under a tent; it was called Duck-Duck-Goose. The sale has continued to grow and there are now franchises in several cities in the United States.  The original sale in Knoxville, TN has now grown to having an average of 2,500 consignors.  Lee Ann moved to the Wilmington area five years ago and has continued to travel home in the fall and spring to attend the sale.  She has always found most of her children’s clothing at the sale and through the years has taken several friends home with her to consign and shop; they have also loved it.  One of those friends, Jennifer Whitley became hooked.  She and Lee Ann decided that it was time for the Wilmington area to play Duck-Duck-Goose.  When Jennifer shared with her mother-in-law, Bobbie Whitley, how fabulous Duck-Duck-Goose is, she decided she wanted to get involved.

Bobbie is the owner of Flea Body’s Resale Shop and also works full-time as a nurse manager.  She is a native to the area, has 3 grown children and four grand-children.  Jennifer is also a native to the area, is a stay at home mom to two boys ages 4 and 2 and is also a graduate student.  Lee Ann is also a stay at home mom to a 8 year old girl and 5 year old boy and stays busy as the wife of a pastor.  All 3 ladies are great friends, live nearby one another and attend church together where Lee Ann’s husband is the Senior Pastor.

We look forward to providing for the needs of your family and serving the Wilmington area.
