Used when consigning <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/dkdkgoose.com\/memphis\/faq\"><em>boutique<\/em><\/a><em> items.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Hanging Items<\/h2>\n<p>We want your items to sell!\u00a0 Clean and press if needed.\u00a0 Hang neatly.\u00a0 Pin items well so they do not fall of the hanger.\u00a0 Pin securely to prevent damage to your item or an adjacent item on the rack.\u00a0 The better your items are presented, the more likely they will sell \u2013 and sell for top dollar!<\/p>\n<p>Follow these easy steps:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Place clothing on hangers with the hook turned left, like a question mark\u00a0(see diagram 1.a below).<\/li>\n<li>Pants, shorts &amp; skirts should be secured on the top (angled) part of the\u00a0hangers using medium to large\u00a0safety pins.\u00a0 NO STRAIGHT PINS OR TINY GOLD SAFETY PINS ALLOWED.<\/li>\n<li>2-piece outfits:\u00a0 It is best to safety pin the pants over the back of the shirt, and onto the hanger \u2013 please do not hang the pants inside the shirt. Pinning to the back allows shoppers to see your outfit more thoroughly. METAL HANGERS are preferred. A good resource for metal hangers is your local dry cleaners. Print the tags on white cardstock. \u00a0The cardstock will help keep tags from ripping off during the sale. Place the barcode tag on the upper right side of the garment using a safety pin.\u00a0 Please position the pin horizontally at the top of the tag \u2013 making sure the pin goes in and back out through the tag.\u00a0 Again, this helps secure the tag to prevent tags from easily being torn from your item. \u00a0The on-line tagging system ensures that your tags have ALL the information needed, including your consignor #, size, price, description, unique barcode, if your item can be discounted during the \u00bd price sale, and whether you would like to donate your item at the end of the sale. Your tags can be printed from your home computer at your convenience!\u00a0 Securing your tags will help sell your items. <strong>Please understand if anything loses a tag we cannot sell it.\u00a0 You may consider writing your consignor number on a piece of masking tape or sticky label and placing it inside your clothing items, on the bottom of toys, etc.\u00a0 This can help us identify who an item belongs to if it becomes separated from your tag.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The format below must be followed carefully.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2>Pricing Items<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>A general guideline for pricing your items is 30-40% of what you originally paid. The condition of the item may raise or lower that price.<\/li>\n<li>NO ITEMS under $3.00.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Preparing Shoes<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>SHOES MUST BE SUPER CLEAN!<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>We will be accepting <strong>10 <\/strong>(per gender) of your very best pair. (example: NO scuffs and worn out tennis shoes)<\/li>\n<li>Shoes must be appropriate to the season<\/li>\n<li>Infant and toddler shoes must be placed in zip-loc bags with tag placed inside bag.<\/li>\n<li>For larger size shoes: tie laces together and place a safety pin thru them to secure tightly.\u00a0 On shoes without laces use the appropriate size zip-loc to keep them together. Another option is to use zip ties to hold shoes together.\u00a0 Our goal is to keep matching pairs together.\u00a0 Please use your best judgment to help make this possible.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Preparing Toys, Books, Videos, Large Equipment &amp; Furniture<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Place your barcode tag in a sandwich bag and\/or use clear packaging tape to secure it to your item.\u00a0 This will help prevent your card from being ripped or damaged by tape or small children.<\/li>\n<li>If toys have loose pieces, the pieces should be placed in a zip-loc-type bag then attached to the item as securely as possible. (Just imagine 10 toddlers \u201ctesting\u201d your item, and tape accordingly.) We cannot accept responsibility for lost or damaged pieces.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What you may consign with Duck-Duck-Goose<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Items accepted:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Children&#8217;s clothing that is in current style and season<\/li>\n<li>Boys infant thru teens<\/li>\n<li>Girls infant thru teens<\/li>\n<li>In season shoes<\/li>\n<li>Maternity clothing that is in current style (all seasons) &#8211; MAXIMUM of 15 items<\/li>\n<li>All things for baby including furniture, equipment, bedding, strollers, pack-n-plays, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Pretend play, dress-up clothes and dolls<\/li>\n<li>Sports equipment (in season and good condition)<\/li>\n<li>Power wheels, riding toys, and Little Tykes equipment<\/li>\n<li>Toys for infants, toddlers thru teens<\/li>\n<li>Puzzles, books, boxed games, CD\u2019s, DVD&#8217;s, all gaming systems (NO VHS TAPES)<\/li>\n<li>Anything for children and teens that is in GREAT condition<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Items we will NOT accept:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Clothing with stains, holes, missing buttons or broken zippers<\/li>\n<li>Clothing not in current\u00a0style and current season<\/li>\n<li>T- shirts unless they are in excellent condition<\/li>\n<li>VHS tapes<\/li>\n<li>Toys, equipment or furniture with missing\/non-functioning parts<\/li>\n<li>Car seats more than 5 years old (due to safety regulations)<\/li>\n<li>Items missing batteries, that require them to fully function (batteries <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">must<\/span> be included)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Conditions &amp; Limitations<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Please inspect your items closely before bringing them to the sale.
