Coronavirus Update

In light of the newest suggested guidelines from our Governor and the CDC, we have decided to postpone the upcoming sale. 

 

Interim Guidance for Coronavirus (COVID-19) as of 3/15/2020:

CDC, in accordance with its guidance for large events, recommends that the next 8 weeks, organizers cancel or postpone in-person events that consist of 50 people or more throughout the United States.

We are true to our mission and will do everything possible to have an event this season. We do not take this measure lightly— we believe you should always seek wise counsel and pray before making choices in matters that involve so many. This decision is not made in fear. We are confident in our purpose; we are confident in our moms to make wise choices and we are strong in our mission to help our community. 

We will be meeting with the Fairgrounds to work out future dates, while knowing it may require a change in venue. We ask that you join us in prayer as we seek the path God has for Duck-Duck-Goose. We fully believe God has His hands on this. We know our efforts as organizers and your efforts as moms are of value. We hope that you will join us in praying that God will show us exactly what steps to make.
 

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

We will keep you posted as details change. Our desire is to reschedule for a May or June sale. Your consignor number stays the same from season to season. So, this extra time at home could be a perfect time to tag your items. As for those concerned about your $5 pre-registration fee, we suggest that it be applied to our next event, but we are happy to offer a refund.

Thank you to those who are supportive of our mission. We have always considered Duck-Duck-Goose a community event that focuses on supporting families. We appreciate ALL emails, calls and responses. We are most thankful for those who are willing to stand with us to support and bring light to the families in our community.
